Kids Clinic with Mariano Rivera

On Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 fifty lucky kids got to play baseball with Yankee closer and future Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera. Mariano ran the pitching station and caught all of the children's pitches while giving helpful advice. Other Yankee greats also attended, including Mike Torres and Mickey Rivers. The kids learned basic baseball skills from these legends. Afterwards, everyone ate lunch, took a tour of Monument Park, and participated in a Q&A session with the alumni. Tickets to that night’s game were also provided.
