| Spokesperson Roles Jose Cuervo with Rony Seikaly and Jay Novacek Client Objectives ▪ Jose Cuervo wanted to leverage its existing sponsorship for AVP Beach Volleyball tour stops in Miami, FL & Dallas, TX, as well as generate media interest onsite at the qualifying events. Steiner Sports Solution ▪ Compile a target list of former, younger sports personalities in each market to “try out” for a spot on the Cuervo Gold Crown AVP Tour. ▪ Former Heat center, Rony Seikaly participated in Miami and former Cowboys tight end, Jay Novacek played in Dallas to promote the tour activities. Program ▪ Seikaly & Novacek participated in morning media outreach tours to promote their participation with Cuervo & the AVP that day. ▪ Both athletes teamed up with an AVP player to play in a qualifying match against other AVP Tour members. Results ▪ Cuervo received local & national media coverage of Seikaly/Novacek’s participation in their respective events, and promoted the Cuervo Gold Crown tour stops through b-roll media packages & onsite interviews. |
